En una entrevista que le hacen a Paula Cole, ella menciona a Amy Lee: "As far as voices go, Ray LaMontagne blows me away. Oh and Amy Lee, from Evanescence is amazing, her voice is so real. I totally respect Kelly Clarkson, I don’t love all of her songs but she is such a strong girl and isn’t afraid to have meat on her bones. Which I love. Lady GaGa’s work ethic is brilliant, and Rihanna has some amazing songs. I’m not sure about the new one with Eminem (“Love the Way You Lie”), I mean he is known for disrespecting women so it doesn’t make complete sense, but I love that song."
En cuanto a las voces, Ray LaMontagne me sopla lejos. Ah, y Amy Lee, de Evanescence es impresionante, su voz es tan real. Estoy totalmente de respeto Kelly Clarkson, yo no quiero a todas sus canciones pero ella es una chica fuerte y no tiene miedo de comer carne de sus huesos. Que me encanta. Lady GaGa ética de trabajo es brillante, y Rihanna tiene unas canciones increíbles. No estoy seguro sobre el nuevo con Eminem ("Love The Way You Lie"), me refiero a que es conocido por faltar el respeto a las mujeres por lo que no tiene sentido completo, pero me encanta esa canción.
